Santa Fe Railroad Workers Tool Box

1,195.00

USA, Early 1900’s, Santa Fe Railroad Workers Tool Box. Pine construction with an incredible story.

This Tool Box has original paint, names, initials and addresses all hand painted. The Santa Fe R.R. logo on the left side has small lettering in each corner of the logo representing different railroad routes this box had traveled with the worker. The Initials C.E.B are painted on the middle front with an address of "20 Perl St Denver Colo" below. On the right side is another Santa Fe R.R. logo with Dept. painted inside the logo, this probably represented the department the worker was apart of.

Inside the box is a well worn interior with original leather tool holders still intact. Original blacksmith created handles are on each side of the box.

This piece is one of the finest examples of early Americana Railroad collectibles.
